On the right side of every page, notice the widget that says, "Are You In My TopSpots"? That's the new easy (and affordable!) way to help keep this website going. For a very small amount ($1.60), essentially a tip to show your appreciation for the tools found herein, you will receive a sitewide, Google-friendly (nofollowed), temporary text link to the website of your choosing, with whatever anchor text you like (up to 20 characters) and a custom message when someone mouse-overs your link.

That's really cool! But how long will my link stay there? Well, I am glad you asked. One of the features that allows these links to be so affordable is a concept known as auto-bumping. Basically what this means is that each person who tips gets put at the top of the list (hence the name of the widget, My TopSpots), pushing down the tippers before them. I have my widget set to display 10 links at a time. If you want to get back in the top spot again after your link eventually gets pushed off of the bottom of the list, then you can simply re-tip whenever you like.

Please note that these tips are non-refundable. I do have my widget set where I have to approve every link, and the way the system works if I do not approve you then you do not get a refund, sorry. However, as long as you are not submitting sites that are harmful (spyware), porn (or other strictly adult sites that might offend), scams, hate sites, or other things of that nature, then I plan on approving the link.

The audience here on Bad Neighborhood generally consists of webmasters of all sorts with an interest in technology, search engines, blogging, and web marketing (seo/sem). However, if you wish to display a text ad to your jewelry site, or poodle grooming, or whatever, then that is fine with me. Text links from the ads will display on all pages.
